Pro Jesus, Anti Christianity

I am very pro Jesus and Christianity.  Christianity is anti Jesus and pro their version of Christ.  Yet, Christians call Jesus their Christ and their religion Christianity or Christ-anti.  In my experience, the last thing that Christianity wants is for people to think and act like Jesus, which is why I would call the Antichrist.
Christ is the Greek word for messiah.  The messiah concept comes from some Jewish traditions and it is all about God sending someone to save humanity, as if we need to be saved, as if we were ever in peril, as if God would ever abandon us.  The belief in a Christ or messiah comes from the faithless mind.  The scriptures are of the faithless, by the faithless, and for the faithless.

Digital Life - Dad punishes Facebook post with 8 bullets to daughter's laptop

Digital Life - Dad punishes Facebook post with 8 bullets to daughter's laptop

This guy is one SICK parent, and the sooner his daughter gets away from him the better. Talking about disrespect as he sits there smoking a cigarette, how stupid, for he is DEMONSTRATING that he does not feel he is worthy of respect by his KILLING himself with his smoking. Then he goes and does VIOLENCE to a computer to demonstrate respect? How stupid and sick can a person be.

If he really loved his daughter he would talk to her about he 'problems' with him and work it out, not be violent. He could talk about the economics of reality, that he is paying for her shelter and food and that he could stop buying his daughter any 'special' items, like new clothes, computers or phones, etc. but doing violence to anything, using a GUN to make his point to his daughter? Really? This guy is sick and those who support him are sick.

Would Jesus have done this? Hell, no, but this is what is taught in the 'bible belt'.

The fact that so many people, particularly conservative Christians, like what this guy did shows that conservative Christianity is SO far away from Jesus' way, truth and life.

Would Jesus un-friend anyone?

Would Jesus un-friend anyone? Would any awakened person cut anyone out of his or her life?

Those who offend or upset you are your greatest teachers, your greatest friends, for they show you your habits that make you your worst enemy.

Jesus vs. Apostles

Why I Hate Religion, But Love Jesus

Somebody pointed out to me this video, which seems to be moving away from the 'churchy-ness' of Christianity.  Yet it reminded me of all the ills of Christianity that still infected the guy who made the video.

Religion is a system of beliefs.  Jesus never said that he believe in anything so Jesus could not be said to be a believer or religious.  Jesus advocated that people believe in him and in so doing he was a hypocrite.

The apostles were believers in Jesus, their whole message was about believing and hence they created what is known today as the religion called Christianity.  But Christianity is not following Jesus' way, truth and life, it is about believing that Jesus' death and resurrection effected the consequences of our lives; that because of Jesus' death we will not have to go to hell for our sins.  This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Jesus way, truth or LIFE.  In fact, this idea is diabolically apposed to Jesus' way, truth and life.

So I can see why they would call their religion Christianity, Christ-anti.  Since they call Jesus the Christ the message of Christ-anti is anti the way of Christ or Antichrist.  (As Jesus said, 'nothing is hidden that will not later be revealed.")

Mahatma Gandhi was once asked what he thought of Christians and he said, "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians.  Your Christians are so unlike their Christ."   I have yet to meet a non Christian who would  disagree with that statement.

Christians are so unlike their Christ because they do not follow their Christ, they follow the faithless teachings of the apostles, particularly of the one who called himself the Apostle Paul.

Jesus was constantly pointing out to his followers how faithless they were and that faithlessness manifested into their doctrine, which today is called the doctrine of Christianity.  Part of that doctrine says that you cannot be like Jesus, that He was God and you are not.  It also says that Jesus was without sin but that all the rest of humanity is born into sin and that it needs Jesus to save us from our sins.

This is as far from Jesus' way, truth and life as a person could get, and it is all a product of the faithlessness of the writers of the New Testament.

So those who believe in the bible and study the New Testament (NT) go away from Jesus' way and become very unlike their Christ, just as Gandhi pointed out.

It is very clear that the apostles did not follow Jesus' way of thinking.  They probably could not understand it and Jesus' teaching are not that very clarifying as to why he thought the way he did.

Basically, this post is about pointing out that if you believe in the teachings of the apostles and you follow them you are not following and you will be turned away from Jesus' way, truth or life.
